Job Description:
This job is responsible for developing and managing the end-to-end product life cycle for highly complex products. Key responsibilities include conducting market research and competitor analyses, determining product pricing, developing short and long-term strategies, and identifying innovative opportunities to modernize product offerings and deliver a more unified customer experience. Job expectations include ensuring that product management efforts are integrated with sales, marketing, operations, implementation, and customer service strategies.

More specifically, this role is responsible for defining and driving the strategy, optimization, and evolution of the client and prospect trigger portfolio and identifying opportunities to drive more personalized offers and communication. Key responsibilities include identifying the highest-value opportunities to accelerate acquisition, engagement, deepening, retention, and servicing outcomes; developing a forward-looking trigger roadmap; and ensuring trigger capabilities align to enterprise strategic objectives. The role serves as a subject matter expert on trigger performance, processes, and opportunities, partnering closely with Product, Marketing, and Analytics Modeling & Insights (AMI) teams to deliver data-driven recommendations, simplify and enhance trigger coverage, and drive measurable business growth and operational excellence.

Responsibilities:

  • Identifies and creates comprehensive plans for product development and deployment, including supporting the creation of sales training programs and marketing materials to educate clients and internal teams on product capabilities
  • Oversees a set of products and maintains financials, including managing the investment profile and profit and loss (P&L) activities, such as revenue and profit margins
  • Provides information on product trends to sales and marketing teams leveraging knowledge of product functionality, marketplace trends, and the competitive landscape
  • Identifies opportunities to streamline or enhance product offerings to fit client's existing and future needs and support continued growth and operational excellence
  • Manages risk through implementing and monitoring effective controls in partnership with key support partners
  • Partners with internal stakeholders to obtain meaningful insights about markets, clients, and competitors in order to develop products that solve client needs and ensure high adoption rates
  • Develops and influences product strategy, driving products to provide comprehensive solutions across the bank
  • Defines and executes the trigger program strategy, prioritizing high-value growth opportunities across acquisition, engagement, deepening, retention, and servicing while continuously optimizing portfolio coverage through expansion, simplification, and retirement decisions.
  • Serves as subject matter expert on client and prospect triggers – what we have today, usage, processes, implementation, measurement, opportunities; Solves complex problems and delivers on business initiatives and processes by applying subject matter expertise and technical knowledge
  • Maintains strategic relationships between Product, Analytics Modeling & Insights (AMI) and Marketing teams to optimize client and prospect triggers, drive alignment and deliver on business outcomes
  • Leverages data and analytics to identify opportunities for more personalized client offers and communications, improving engagement and business performance.
  • Partners with Product partners and leaders to identify and advance opportunities that support enterprise strategic priorities, growth objectives, and Investor Day commitments.
  • Drives growth and operational excellence by enhancing the client experience, maximizing business value, and ensuring effective risk management.

Required Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of relevant experience
  • Demonstrated ability to build effective partnerships and lead cross-functional teams to drive business objectives and strategic priorities
  • Excellent verbal and written communication; ability to succinctly convey information within a compelling narrative
  • Prior experience working across products; cross-functional team management
  • Proven success leading large-scale strategic initiatives involving diverse stakeholder groups
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively manage multiple efforts with varying deadlines
  • Intellectually curious, highly motivated self-starter who is quick to learn & patient through iteration
  • Strong drive to deliver results; problem-solving mindset to persist despite obstacles
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products, specifically PowerPoint, Excel and Teams
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to synthesize complex data, insights, and business needs into actionable strategies and recommendations

Pay and benefits information

Pay range

$116,600.00 - $174,300.00 annualized salary, offers to be determined based on experience, education and skill set.

Discretionary incentive eligible

This role is eligible to participate in the annual discretionary plan. Employees are eligible for an annual discretionary award based on their overall individual performance results and behaviors, the performance and contributions of their line of business and/or group; and the overall success of the Company.
