The Concierge is responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and creating a welcoming, personalized experience for all guests. Reporting to the Lead Concierge or Client Relations Manager, this role serves as the primary point of contact for guest inquiries, requests, and recommendations. The Concierge plays a key role in enhancing guest satisfaction by anticipating needs, coordinating services, and ensuring a seamless and memorable experience.

 

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Deliver a warm, professional welcome and provide exceptional customer service to all guests

  • Respond to guest inquiries, provide information, and assist with check-ins and check-outs

  • Resolve guest concerns and complaints promptly, ensuring high levels of satisfaction

  • Manage reservations, ensuring accurate booking data and efficient use of reservation systems

  • Maintain up-to-date records of guest bookings, availability, and special requests

  • Provide personalized recommendations for dining, entertainment, and local attractions based on guest preferences

  • Coordinate with internal departments (front desk, housekeeping, F&B) to ensure seamless guest experiences

  • Arrange special services such as transportation, dining reservations, and appointments

  • Identify VIP guests and deliver elevated, personalized service to exceed expectations

  • Monitor guest safety and respond to emergencies in accordance with established procedures

  • Collaborate with security and management to address safety or security concerns

  • Participate in training programs, including Cornerstone, to enhance skills and service delivery

 

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ATTRIBUTES: 

  • Strong customer service orientation with a client-first mindset  

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills  

  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport quickly  

  • Knowledge of local attractions, dining, and entertainment options  

  • High attention to detail and organizational skills  

  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment  

  • Problem-solving skills with sound judgment and decision-making ability  

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times  

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and reservation/booking systems  

  • Positive attitude, adaptability, and a proactive approach to guest service  

  • Ability to lift or move 40 lbs. or greater

  • Ability to grasp, lift or carry packages on a standard wheeled cart with a load capacity of 75 lbs.

  • Ability to walk, bend, kneel, stand or sit for an extended period of time

 

QUALIFICATIONS: 

Education: 
High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred 

Experience: 
Minimum of 1 year of experience in hospitality, concierge services, customer service, or a related field 

Technical Skills: 

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)

  • Experience with reservation or property management systems preferred  

  • Familiarity with communication and booking platforms 

The Compensation range for this role is 23.00 to 26.00 USD per hour and may be eligible for an annual bonus. Actual compensation within that range will be dependent upon the individual's location, skills, experience and qualifications.
