Your Role: Own the Challenge
In this role, you will have the opportunity to lead the execution of supplier assessments, drive both corrective and preventive actions based on supplier maturity and performance levels. Each day, you will manage operational supplier quality, both on-site and off-site, ensuring the thorough execution of supplier qualification and development processes. You will also showcase your expertise by managing the supplier’s Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
The work model for the role is: #LI-Onsite.
This role is contributing to the NEMA Motors division factory success in Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico
Global relocation/LTA support will not be considered for this position.
You will be mainly accountable for:
Overall Quality performance in the factory.
Monitor and improve key indicators including scrap, warranty and FPY.
Responsible for the supplier quality performance.
Manage the quality management systems of the factory in accordance with ABB's procedures.
Ensure the compliance with the management system including ISO9001.
Leading in promptly addressing issues related to products, processes and suppliers quality, demonstrating a good knowledge in problem solving tools.
Ensuring required supplier development processes are thoroughly executed to drive continuous improvement of the supplier base.
Handle the cycle count team, supplier quality team and production quality team.

Qualifications for the role
You enjoy working with problem solving and continues improvement methods in the metal-mechanic industry, electric motor industry preferably.
You have more than 8 years of experience in quality related activities.
Possess a good knowledge of SAP or similar ERPs, document management systems such as Compliant Pro.
Good communication skills, including verbal and written.
Customer management under high pressure environments.
You are at ease communicating in English and Spanish.
You hold current degree in mechanical, industrial engineering or similar fields.
