Job Description
As a Security Officer Full Time Mobile Patrol Driver in Fort Wayne, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer, you will monitor and patrol a construction location, maintaining a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will conduct routine patrols, observe and report conditions, support access control, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. - Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of construction-related areas, access points, parking areas, and the perimeter to help identify unusual activity, unauthorized entry, or property concerns.
- Monitor access to the location, verify authorized personnel and visitors, and maintain required entry and activity records.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site-specific protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
- Report observed hazards, damaged barriers, suspicious activity, and other security-related concerns to site leadership and/or Allied Universal management.
Minimum Requirements:
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Alarm panel experience is preferred.
- Access control/badge experience is preferred.
- Loss prevention experience is preferred.
- At this site, there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
