Summary
As a Sales Data Analyst, you will support our sales team's effectiveness by creating insightful dashboards and reports using BI tools, CRM, and other reporting software. You will perform ad-hoc analyses and summarize data into presentations with clear visuals and commentary. This role requires interdepartmental collaboration, a high level of attention to detail, and interaction with internal stakeholders to ensure data-driven decision-making.
What You’ll Do
Develop and maintain dashboards and reports using BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Quicksight) to provide actionable insights for the sales team and leadership
Perform ad-hoc analyses using Excel and other data analysis tools to support various sales initiatives and answer key business questions
Summarize data effectively into presentations, incorporating insightful visuals and commentary to communicate findings clearly
Assist in tracking and reporting on global sales KPIs, ensuring data accuracy and consistency across regions
Identify and implement process improvements to enhance data collection, analysis, and reporting efficiency
Build productive internal relationships with team members and stakeholders across different departments, often interacting with sales and other operational leadership
Ensure the integrity and accuracy of sales data by conducting regular data quality checks and validation
Contribute to the creation and implementation of standardized reports, ensuring consistency and reliability in data presentation
Enable data-driven decision-making by providing insights that inform sales strategies and performance
What You’ll Need
Minimum Qualifications
Undergraduate degree and a minimum of 2 years of related experience preferably within sales analytics
Proficiency in using data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Quicksight
A strong knowledge of SQL as well as advanced Excel skills
Experience or exposure to modern data stack tools like dbt (Data Build Tool) or cloud data warehouses (e.g., Snowflake, BigQuery, Databricks).
Preferred Qualifications
Proven ability to create and present insightful visuals and commentary in presentations to senior leadership and other stakeholders
Experience in the technology or SaaS industry.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights
Excellent communication skills, capable of presenting complex data clearly and concisely
Ability to work independently, prioritize work, and manage tasks based on clearly defined objectives
Experience building productive internal working relationships across similar areas
Travel Requirements & Working Conditions
Willingness to travel up to 10%

How You’ll Be Rewarded
✅ Salary range in the US: $83,000.00 - $134,000.00✅ A discretionary bonus typically paid annually
✅ Restricted Stock Units granted at time of hire
