Manager, Category Management Your role Key responsibilities in your new role Strategic procurement for Centre of Competence Procurement Back End. Key KPIs includes cost reduction rate, supplier quality and delivery performance and payment terms. This role is dedicated for Leadframe category under backend production material. The category manager is tasked to support & drive implementation of category and supplier strategy for backend material categories with estimated yearly spend of ~ EUR150m.  Support to develop and implement category and supplier strategy. Establish category and supplier strategy together with incumbent Leadframe CM/PEN, with alignment from operations and development. Drive implementation together with relevant stakeholders and suppliers. Category sourcing for new development and alternative source. Sourcing of global market for best supplier and solution that fulfill Infineon's product requirements while ensuring security of supply. Lead qualification and onboarding of suppliers to strengthen supply resilience. Cost analysis, cost modelling and benchmarking of managed category. Develop good understanding of category cost model to enable comprehensive value analysis and comparison amongst suppliers' offerings. Analysis of supply market and develop market intelligence. Consistent survey of market status and provide recommendation to management to take relevant actions according to market trends. Monitor industry trends, market dynamics, and cost drivers to support category decisions. Supplier management and development. Ensuring proper implementation of supplier management process including phase in/out, evaluation, consequence and relationship management with site procurement. Manage strategic supplier relationships and conduct regular business reviews.  Drive continuous improvement of cost, quality and delivery of supplier in alignment with stakeholders at operation and development. Lead commercial negotiations covering pricing, capacity, quality, and contractual terms.  Supply crisis and recovery management. Drive management of supply crisis and recovery management when required with site Procurement. Act as the primary escalation point for category-related supply and supplier issues. Tracking of KPI performance and develop actions to drive target achievement. Maintain monthly tracking of commodity KPI performance and identify key actions together with stakeholders and site Procurement Play the role of a challenger to common thinking and an advisor, providing a fresh perspective to proposed strategies Your profile Qualifications and skills to help you succeed  Candidate with a bachelor degree qualification with at least 5 years of working experience in strategic procurement role or other role with 8 years experience in semiconductor industry.  Candidate should possess strong strategic and analytical mindset with good communication skill to build wide business network internally and externally independently in driving success of category and supplier strategy.  Knowledge of backend materials, or semiconductor packaging supply chains.  Willingness to travel across supplier and IFX manufacturing locations as required. #WeAreIn for driving decarbonization and digitalization.
