Job Description
Join our Corporate Finance team and support strategic financial planning, forecasting, and performance analysis activities at the enterprise level. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with senior finance leadership, contributing to key financial analyses that help drive business decisions and support Accenture's long-term growth strategy.
The Strategic Planning & Analysis Sr. Analyst will be responsible for analyzing financial performance, identifying key business trends, supporting forecasting processes, and delivering insights that enable informed decision-making. The role requires strong analytical capabilities, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively across multiple Finance teams in a fast-paced and highly confidential environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial analyses and reporting deliverables.
- Analyze actual financial results and costs across multiple categories, identifying key drivers of variances against forecasts, budgets, and prior performance.
- Partner with Finance stakeholders to investigate financial variances, validate assumptions, and determine necessary adjustments.
- Identify trends, risks, opportunities, and performance gaps, providing insights and recommendations to support decision-making.
- Contribute to forecasting and planning activities by consolidating inputs, validating data, and updating financial projections.
- Prepare executive-level reports, presentations, and financial materials for leadership review.
- Perform financial modeling, scenario analysis, and business performance assessments.
- Ensure accuracy, consistency, and integrity of financial data and reporting.
- Collaborate across Finance functions to support strategic initiatives and continuous improvement efforts.
- Manage multiple priorities while maintaining high-quality deliverables in a dynamic environment.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), Financial Reporting, Corporate Finance, Accounting, or related finance functions.
- Strong understanding of financial statements, accounting principles, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including data analysis, modeling, and reporting.
- Experience creating executive presentations and reporting materials using Microsoft PowerPoint.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with financial forecasting, strategic planning, and business performance analysis.
- Knowledge of corporate finance concepts and financial management practices.
- Experience working with SAP, financial reporting systems, or enterprise planning tools.
- Experience with Power BI, dashboards, and data visualization tools.
- Understanding of operational and economic drivers within large organizations.
