General Summary:

Responsibilities

Manage assigned ASIC/SoC development projects and collaborate with cross-functional, geographically dispersed teams to deliver products from project kick-off through customer release. Develop, define, and execute project plans, schedules, budgets, milestones, and deliverables for assigned projects. Partner with the functional managers and technical leads to track key project metrics and KPIs, including schedule, scope, risks, budget, cost, quality, and manufacturability. Support Annual Operating Planning (AOP) activities by working closely with planners, marketing, and sales teams to estimate, forecast, and manage project and portfolio spending, ensuring actual expenditures closely align with forecasts. Build trusted partnerships with cross-functional leadership to identify and remove execution roadblocks, mitigate risks, improve operational efficiency, and drive successful project outcomes. Collaborate with demand creation, sales, and marketing teams to align execution priorities and product sample allocation with market and customer requirements. Support customer engagements by coordinating responses to RFI and RFQ requests for strategic business opportunities. Effectively communicate project status, risks, issues, and mitigation plans to project teams, stakeholders, and leadership through regular reviews and executive updates.

Knowledge & Skills

Strong understanding of the end-to-end ASIC/SoC New Product Introduction (NPI) lifecycle and milestones ( Feasibility , design, fabrication, packaging, test, characterization, qualification, and high-volume manufacturing phase) Demonstrated ability to deliver projects on schedule, within budget, and to required quality standards. Have risk management skills, including project tracking, contingency planning, issue resolution, and proactive escalation to prevent execution disruptions. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively across engineering, operations, marketing, sales, and executive leadership teams. With analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced development environment.

Prefer Experience

2-3 years of semiconductor industry experience, with exposure to ASIC/SoC product development or New Product Introduction (NPI) programs. 2-3 years of hands-on technical program/project management experience to coordinate with cross-functional teams in the development and commercialization of ASIC, SoC, or semiconductor products. Strong understanding of semiconductor product development processes, from concept definition through production release and mass manufacturing. Experience managing project schedules, risks, dependencies, and cross-functional execution across engineering, operations, and supply chain organizations.

Education

  • BS, Electrical or Electronics or other Engr disciplines needed in the semiconductor field. Masters preferred.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field. • 2+ years of Program Management or related work experience.
