The Role
As the Retail Supervisor, you will partner with the Retail Manager in delivering the Fan (guest) and Crew (staff) experience in the retail component of Netflix House. Your responsibilities include shared oversight of the retail Leads and Crew who engage fans, sell merchandise, staff the main retail space, and smaller pop-up locations, while monitoring sales and revenue goals. You will be tasked with executing daily staffing plans, training, and developing the local retail Crew. You will partner with our Retail Vendor team, who is the stakeholder in sourcing and purchasing products, ensuring sales revenue is optimized in collaboration with Netflix Corporate strategy. There will be a strong focus on Visual Merchandising in this role, partnering with our Central team to execute and maintain a space that best highlights our exciting products. You are an individual who is passionate about sharing Netflix fandom by leading a Crew that is set up for success with great training, knowledge, and the right tools to create memorable experiences. The ideal Retail Supervisor is a communicative leader dedicated to developing and connecting with their team.
This on-site, salaried role reports to the Retail Manager and is based in King of Prussia, PA.
What you will do:
Supervise the daily on-site operations and team/Crew for the retail store and pop-ups, focusing on sales optimization and fan service informed by revenue targets and budgetary constraints.
Collaborate with the Retail Vendor for on-site inventory allocation and replenishment, sales tracking, and overall sales performance.
Monitor and maintain visual merchandising standards and assist with training to align with Netflix House visual representation guidance.
Responsible for back-of-house retail storage.
Execute training and deployment process strategies for the retail Crew.
Optimize ongoing retail operations to achieve maximum efficiency and best-in-class Fan experience.
Follow operational SOPs for daily operations and make recommended updates to the Retail Manager
Follow the Netflix Corporate visual merchandising strategy in-store to ensure a cohesive look across Netflix Houses, as directed by the Retail Manager.
Act as a Manager on Duty and Safety on Duty for the operation.
Promote and foster a mindset of continuous innovation for internal teams and external partners.
What we need from you:
Applicants must be at least 18 years of age to be considered for employment.
Demonstrated 2+ years of retail store supervisory or managerial experience.
Proficiency in Google Workspace tools to manage documentation, data, reporting, and collaboration.
Passion for retail visual merchandising and a strong understanding of planogram execution and product presentation standards.
Strong knowledge of training & development strategies.
Knowledge of retail trends in the Location Based Entertainment (LBE) industry.
Experience supervising direct and indirect teams in an environment that embraces continual learning and change.
Demonstrated experience in overseeing daily activities, enforcing EHS compliance, managing staff training, and optimizing workflows to enhance both safety and guest experience to ensure an overall safe, efficient, and guest-focused operation.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and digital.
Excellent leadership skills.
Strong desire to think outside the box and innovate.
Availability to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays in a 365-day attraction.
Generally, our compensation structure consists solely of an annual salary; we do not have bonuses. You choose each year how much of your compensation you want in salary versus stock options. To determine your personal top of market compensation, we rely on market indicators and consider your specific job family, background, skills, and experience to determine your compensation in the market range. The range for this role is $88,000.00 - $124,000.00.
