This role would report to the Facilities and Safety Manager, and would supervise a team of maintenance technicians in performing a wide variety of tasks related to the maintenance and repair of the manufacturing equipment and facilities.These tasks are vital to the safety and efficiency of the manufacturing team, and to the quality of the finished product. The ideal candidate will understand the need for timely and consistent completion of tasks. They will also be comfortable in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, performing urgent repairs or day-to-day preventative maintenance.What You'll DoManage and perform routine maintenance on manufacturing and facilities equipment, including cleaning, calibrations, inspections, testing, etc.Manage and perform reactive maintenance as neededDevelop and execute improvement initiatives for minimizing equipment downtime, improving team efficiency, etc.Serve as the primary point of contact for production staff on all maintenance issuesAssist the Facilities and Safety Manager in managing various site projects, including meeting with contractors and performing administrative workManage assembly and moving of furniture and equipment as neededWhat We're Looking ForMinimum 5+ years of industrial maintenance experience in a fast paced manufacturing environment.Minimum 1+ years of leadership experience leading maintenance technicians or maintenance crews. Experience with preventive maintenance (PM), corrective maintenance, calibration and troubleshooting programs.Experience with development of preventive maintenance schedules and familiarity with CMMS systemsUnderstanding of basic safety protocols, including proper use of PPE and Lockout/Tagout proceduresUnderstanding of basic building code requirementsBasic mechanical, electrical, and plumbing skillsBasic finish skills, including paint and drywallAbility to read and interpret building plansAbility to lift 75+ pounds, work within a confined space, climb ladders, and perform other physical tasksAbility to work occasional overtime/weekends as needed to support production goals and equipment shutdownsDemonstrated proficiency in speaking, reading, writing, and understanding the English languageBonus Points ForExperience with automation equipment and/or PLCsCertifications in any facilities discipline, particularly mechanical, electrical, or plumbingFirst aid/CPR certificationForklift experience/certificationReq ID: J-1170For full-time positions, Dandy offers a wide range of best-in-class, comprehensive, and inclusive benefits tailored to each country where we operate.
