Sr. Branded Content Creative Strategist, Creator Ad Partnerships
The Creator Brand Partnerships Creative Studio designs 360-degree branded content for our creators — custom programs that connect advertisers to creators via their shows, fans, and cultural moments at the highest investment tier. We're looking for a Senior Branded Content Creative Strategist to serve as the qualification and creative gateway for all custom brand partnerships entering the Studio pipeline.
This role sits at the intersection of pre-sales and creative. You are not producing campaigns — you are deciding which campaigns get produced, and shaping the creative strategy that wins them. You will guide brands on how to leverage our creators, their show IP, ad products, multi-channel distribution, and social strategy to reach audiences in a meaningful way. You'll respond to client briefs with compelling proposals that serve the brand's needs while leveraging the best of our creators, ad products, events, and content calendar. You'll also develop proactive creative thought starters against upcoming initiatives and drive demand where you see untapped potential — identifying which brands belong against which content before the brief arrives.
In this role, you operate beyond individual proposal delivery. You define the qualification frameworks that protect creator capacity and maximize pipeline quality, develop scalable creative strategy mechanisms — pitch templates, brand-show matching rubrics, and proactive packaging playbooks — that force-multiply team output. You influence Sales, Strategy & Operations, and Creator Services leadership on creative feasibility, brand-show alignment, and go-to-market readiness. You author strategic narratives for Director+ leadership and mentor junior strategists to raise the creative bar across the organization.
This role requires exceptional creative instincts, the confidence to make binding pipeline decisions, strong presentation and writing skills, and the strategic mindset to shape how our Studio wins business. The ideal candidate thrives in fast-paced, multi-stakeholder environments, has experience in branded content strategy or the creator economy, and holds a high bar for both creative quality and strategic rigor.
Key job responsibilities
1. Qualify inbound client briefs against defined criteria and make binding go/no-go pipeline decisions that protect creator capacity and maximize win rates
2. Develop compelling proposals connecting brand objectives to creator IP, show formats, audience insights, and multi-channel distribution — partnering with the Creator Partnerships Design Director on visual direction for marquee pitches
3. Own the show narrative and creative storytelling for the Creator Ad Partnerships portfolio — developing deep expertise on hosts, content themes, audience data, and performance history to craft the strategic “why this show, why this brand, why now” rationale that wins business
4. Lead live event and livestream branded content strategy, conceptualizing native brand integrations and live content capture that enhance the fan experience
5. Build proactive show packages and creative platforms before briefs arrive — identifying advertiser vertical needs and content opportunities, and packaging them into pitchable creative platforms that seed demand
6. Present creative concepts to clients and media agencies, educating on creator brand partnership capabilities with the fluency and specificity that wins business
7. Serve as the strategic bridge between Sales and the creator team — protecting creator capacity while maximizing pipeline quality and win rates
8. Define and evolve the qualification framework and scalable creative strategy mechanisms — pitch templates, brand-show matching rubrics, proactive packaging playbooks, and routing mechanisms that force-multiply team output
9. Author strategic narratives (QBRs, pipeline analyses, win/loss reviews) for Director+ leadership and present recommendations that influence org-level creative strategy
10. Own competitive intelligence for branded content strategy — tracking industry trends, benchmarking against competitors, and translating insights into differentiated creative approaches
11. Analyze creator performance data, audience signals, and campaign history to build data-driven brand-show matching rationale that informs creative recommendations and ensures strategic rigor across all proposals
12. Integrate AI tools into creative workflows — leveraging emerging capabilities for brief analysis, audience insight synthesis, competitive research, and rapid concept iteration
A day in the life
Qualification & Pipeline Routing: You assess the inbound briefs queue against defined criteria — budget confirmation, timeline feasibility, creator-brand alignment, and win probability — making binding go/no-go decisions on which briefs enter the custom pipeline and routing non-qualifying demand to the appropriate tier with clear rationale for the sales team.
Creative Strategy & Proposal Development: You lead creative development sessions for qualified briefs, architecting multi-format concepts that connect brand objectives to creator IP, show formats, and audience insights — taking the pen on creative concepts, shaping the narrative that wins the business, and briefing the Creator Partnerships Design Director on visual direction for marquee pitches.
Proactive Development & Show Packaging: You build pitchable creative platforms against upcoming creator slates before any brief arrives — combining audience data, show IP, and brand category fit into "why now" packages that seed demand and get ahead of the market.
Client Meetings & Pitches: You attend agency and client pitch meetings, presenting creative concepts, educating on creator brand partnership capabilities, and fielding questions with the specificity and fluency that comes from deep portfolio knowledge.
Data-Driven Brand-Show Matching: You analyze creator performance data, audience overlap signals, and campaign history to build the data narratives that support your creative strategy recommendations — ensuring your instincts are backed by evidence.
Live Event & Livestream Strategy: You develop the branded content strategy for creator live events — conceptualizing native brand integrations, live content capture moments, and sponsor activations that enhance the fan experience while meeting brand objectives.
Stakeholder Management & Cross-Functional Navigation: You align Sales, Ad Operations, Production, and Creator Services teams on pipeline decisions, format feasibility, and campaign handoffs — removing ambiguity, closing open questions, and ensuring nothing is lost in translation between pre-sales and execution.
Strategic Influence & Leadership Communication: You draft strategic narratives on pipeline health and creative win patterns for Director+ leadership, present format innovation proposals, and author the qualification frameworks and playbooks that define how the Studio operates at scale.
AI Fluency: You integrate AI tools into your creative workflow for competitive research, audience insight synthesis, and rapid concept iteration — advocating for AI-driven innovation in the pre-sales process and sharing what works with the team.
