Senior Project Manager - HVAC (North Region)

Location: North India (Delhi NCR / North Region)
Experience: 12-18 Years

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager - HVAC to lead and manage large-scale HVAC projects across the North Region. The role is responsible for end-to-end project execution, including planning, engineering coordination, procurement, installation, commissioning, client management, and financial control while ensuring adherence to quality, safety, and timeline commitments.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage multiple HVAC projects from project award to handover.
• Lead project planning, scheduling, resource allocation, and execution activities.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, architects, contractors, and internal stakeholders.
• Monitor project progress and ensure timely completion within budget.
• Oversee HVAC system installation, testing, commissioning, and handover.
• Drive project profitability through effective cost control and contract management.
• Manage project risks, change orders, claims, and commercial issues.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and statutory regulations.
• Lead and mentor project teams including Project Engineers, Site Managers, and subcontractors.
• Conduct regular project review meetings and provide MIS reports to management.
• Support business development and tender teams with technical and execution inputs when required.

Key Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
• 12+ years of experience in HVAC project execution, with at least 5 years in a project leadership role.
• Proven experience in managing large commercial, industrial, healthcare, data center, hospitality, or infrastructure projects.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, chillers, VRF, ventilation, ducting, piping, and building services.
• Expertise in project management, budgeting, procurement, and contract administration.
• Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and team-handling skills.
• Proficiency in MS Project, Primavera, AutoCAD, and MS Office tools.
• Willingness to travel extensively across the North Region.

Preferred Skills

• PMP or Project Management certification preferred.
• Strong commercial acumen and client-facing experience.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities.
