Job Description

Inviting applications for the role of Informatica Cloud Developer

We are looking for an experienced Informatica Cloud Developer with strong hands‑on expertise in Informatica Cloud Data Integration (IICS), robust SQL skills, and a solid understanding of modern data integration practices. The ideal candidate will lead integration development, support critical data workflows, and collaborate closely with functional teams, onshore counterparts, and business stakeholders.

The role requires a proactive developer who can design, build, and optimize scalable integration solutions while ensuring data accuracy, performance, and reliability across multiple systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, configure, and deploy integrations using Informatica Cloud Data Integration (IICS).
• Design and implement ETL/ELT workflows, ensuring scalability, performance, and reliability.
• Write and optimize complex SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, validation, and performance tuning.
• Automate data processing tasks using Python scripting wherever needed.
• Troubleshoot integration issues, monitor job failures, and ensure timely resolution.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams—Data Engineers, Business Analysts, Application Teams—to understand data requirements and deliver high‑quality solutions.
• Maintain detailed technical documentation, data flow diagrams, and integration specifications.
• Participate in code reviews, follow best practices, and contribute to continuous improvement of the integration framework.

 

Qualifications we seek in you!

• Hands-on experience working with Informatica Cloud Data Integration (IICS).
• Strong proficiency in SQL, including query optimization and debugging.
• Familiarity with Python scripting for automation and data processing tasks.
• Good understanding of data warehousing concepts, APIs, file-based integrations, and cloud data platforms.
• Ability to troubleshoot issues independently and work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
• Strong communication and analytical skills with attention to detail.

Preferred Experience:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in Informatica Cloud (IICS) development or similar integration tools.
• Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Experience with REST/SOAP APIs, JSON/XML transformations, and scheduling/orchestration tools.
• Knowledge of ETL best practices, data governance, and performance tuning.
