Job Description Summary

If you are looking for a meaningful first step in project management — in an industry that is actively reshaping how the world generates and uses energy — this role is built for you. As a Project Coordinator on GE Vernova's Service team, you will be at the centre of day-to-day project operations: keeping schedules on track, connecting the right people at the right time, and making sure nothing slips through the cracks.

You will work closely with Senior Project Managers and cross-functional teams to support the delivery of service projects from start to finish. This is a role that rewards curiosity, reliability, and a genuine interest in how complex operations come together.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain project schedules, trackers, and meeting minutes to ensure every phase is accurately documented and easy to access.
  • Organise and manage project files, technical manuals, and service reports, keeping all documentation current and ready for the team.
  • Act as a first point of contact for routine project enquiries, relaying timely updates between field technicians, supply chain teams, and project managers.
  • Support the generation of project progress reports, including material delivery tracking and data entry for budget monitoring.
  • Schedule and coordinate project meetings, capture notes, and follow up on action items to keep commitments on track.
  • Help verify that project-related safety documents and site access requirements are completed correctly and on time.

About You

You are an organised, detail-oriented professional who enjoys keeping teams connected and projects moving — someone who is ready to grow their project management skills in a technical, fast-paced environment.

Required

  • A Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Project Management, or a related field — or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
  • Some experience in project coordination, administration, or a support role in an industrial or technical environment.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate professionally with diverse team members.

Preferred

  • Experience with scheduling or Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) tools.
  • Familiarity with project management methods such as Gantt charts or critical path analysis.
  • An interest in the energy industry and sustainability.

A formal education and subsequent Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant subject is nice to have, but we are most interested in your total experience and professional achievements.
