Provider Research Associate

BlueCross BlueShield of Tennessee is hiring a dedicated Provider Research Associate to join our team. This role involves the accurate transfer of provider data into various systems, utilizing sources such as contracts, the credentialing application tool, and workflow tools.

In this role, you’ll load provider-related information into Provider Data applications for accurate claims processing and Provider Directory accuracy.

Job Responsibilities

• Administers, updates, and maintains complex and specialty provider accounts and files.
• Communicates with providers on inquiries, invoices, payments and other day-to-day concerns; addressing issues related to operations.
• Ensures accurate and timely loading of provider information.
• Keying of accurate information into information systems in a timely manner.

Job Qualifications

Education

• High School Diploma or equivalent

Experience

• 2 years - Experience in a Support function or Customer Service , experience with the military, or coursework towards a related degree.

Skills\Certifications

• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
