Shift: 1:30 PM-9:30 PMHourly Rate: $33.82 an hour + $1.00 shift differentialReporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, you will perform advanced maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of plant equipment while supporting continuous production operations in a manufacturing environment.A Taste of Your ResponsibilitiesPerform installation, overhaul, and preventative maintenance on assigned plant equipment to ensure efficient operationAnalyze equipment performance, identify defects, and initiate repairs before major breakdowns occurComplete maintenance work orders and maintain accurate documentation within the CMMS system (MP2)Train and mentor operators and mechanics on proper equipment care and maintenance practicesSupport equipment installation and troubleshooting of mechanical and electrical components, including AC and DC systemsPerform precision welding using MIG wire-feed and heliarc techniques on stainless steel and aluminum in multiple positionsConduct precision cutting using plasma torch equipmentExecute sheet metal fabrication using shear and brake equipmentOperate power tools such as drill presses, grinders, milling machines, and lathes safely and effectivelyCollaborate with operators to drive continuous improvement initiatives that enhance production efficiencyIngredients Required for Your SuccessCompletion of a two-year technical degree in industrial mechanical maintenance with a minimum of five years of experience as a Maintenance Mechanic B, or a minimum of eight years of demonstrated experience in the roleStrong knowledge of plant electrical power and control systems, including troubleshooting and repairDemonstrated expertise in welding, fabrication, and machining in a food manufacturing environmentSelf-motivated with the ability to make independent decisions and accept responsibility for outcomesProficiency in preventative maintenance practices and interpreting...
