Position Summary

The Senior Manager, Warehouse & Distribution is responsible for leading and governing warehouse and distribution operations in Brazil, ensuring high service levels, operational efficiency, regulatory compliance, and a strong safety culture.

 

This role supports the Surgical and Vision Care business units and plays a critical part in balancing customer service, quality, cost, and compliance, while partnering closely with internal stakeholders and third-party logistics providers.

 

Scope of Responsibility

Full responsibility for three Distribution Centers in Brazil:

Extrema, MG (DHL 3PL)

Aparecida de Goiânia, GO (AGV Logística)

Barueri, SP – Dedicated operation

Total inventory under management:

Direct leadership of 3 Operations Managers

Overall coordination of approximately 15 direct and indirect associates

Strong matrix interaction with LATAM Logistics and Transportation teams

 

Key Responsibilities

Warehouse & Distribution Operations

Lead inbound, storage, picking, shipping, returns, and destruction processes

Ensure OTIF ≥ 98%

Maintain import receiving SLA within 3 calendar days

Optimize returns and consignment flows

Manage tracking and control of capitalized demo equipment

 

Quality, Compliance & Safety

Ensure compliance with GxP, SOPs, audits, and regulatory requirements

Embed Safety, EHS, and EGS principles across operations

Promote data integrity and continuous improvement

 

Financial Management & Performance

Manage warehousing budget

Manage transportation budget in collaboration with LATAM teams

Drive KPI performance and cost optimization initiatives

 

Leadership & Stakeholder Management

Inspire and develop managers and teams

Influence cross-functional decisions balancing service, quality, and cost

Act as a member of the LATAM Logistics Leadership Team

Own operational outcomes end to end

 

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Logistics, Business, Supply Chain or related fields

Proven experience in warehouse and distribution management in regulated environments

Strong leadership experience managing managers and complex operations

Experience with WMS and ERP systems (SAP preferred)

Fluent English and Portuguese (mandatory)

Spanish is a plus
