As a As a Steward, you’re not just supporting the culinary team to ensure smooth kitchen operations – you’re spreading the light and warmth of hospitality by delivering memorable experiences that make the stay for every guest.
Here's what you'll do during a typical day:
- Wash all cooking equipment and utensils as well as all dishware, glasses, and silverware: Ensure the dish room is not backed up and stay on top of all incoming materials that need cleaning
- Put away all cleaned materials: Ensure all cleaned dishes and cookware is put away in the appropriate place.
- Assist with food service: Help with plating, dish-ups, and transporting prepared items if requested
- Maintain kitchen cleanliness: Perform essential cleaning tasks, including mopping and trash removal
- Comply with regulatory standards: Maintain compliance with health, safety, sanitation, and alcohol awareness regulations, ensuring the highest standards of guest and team member well-being
