Role responsibilities
Lead the architecture and evolution of the North Star backend platform by designing scalable Python services and distributed systems. Translate research prototypes and mathematical models into reliable production software while establishing engineering standards and mentoring the team.
Requirements
Requires a U.S. citizen with 7+ years of professional software engineering experience and expert-level Python proficiency. A background in a quantitative discipline like computer science or physics and experience in technical leadership roles are strongly preferred.
