Safety Supervisor
Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Safety Supervisor to oversee health and safety operations for a large-scale warehouse project. This role is responsible for ensuring full compliance with OSHA standards, enforcing site safety protocols, and promoting a strong safety culture across all shifts.
The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and experienced in managing safety within warehouse, construction, or industrial environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Enforce all OSHA regulations and site-specific safety policies
- Conduct daily safety briefings (toolbox talks) and ensure team awareness
- Lead and manage site safety inductions for all new workers
- Monitor floor activity to ensure compliance with PPE and safety procedures
- Identify hazards, implement corrective actions, and prevent incidents
- Investigate and document accidents, incidents, and near-misses
- Maintain safety logs, reports, and compliance documentation
- Partner with leadership to improve safety performance and awareness
- Ensure all personnel meet site entry requirements before starting work
- Support enforcement of workplace rules and restricted items policies
Requirements
- OSHA 30 Certification (REQUIRED – must be current)
- 2+ years of safety supervision experience in a warehouse, construction, or industrial setting
- Strong knowledge of OSHA standards and workplace safety practices
- Experience conducting safety trainings and audits
- Ability to identify risks and take immediate corrective action
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically active environment
