DIVISION & PRODUCT TEAMS

This role is part of the Enterprise Learning Solutions (ELS) division, within two of its flagship product teams:

  • Credly — the world's leading digital credential and badging platform, enabling organisations to issue, manage, and verify skills recognition at scale.

  • TalentLens — a 70-year-recognised leader in psychometric assessment, helping HR professionals select, develop, and grow talent through scientifically validated tools.

THE ROLE

You join our engineering team to contribute to production systems serving enterprises and HR professionals worldwide. Under the supervision of senior engineers, you take on well-scoped programming assignments across the full software development lifecycle — from design and implementation to testing and delivery. The role is structured to accelerate your growth on a modern, polyglot technology stack, with increasing autonomy as your skills develop.

WHAT YOU'LL WORK ON

  • Implement features across our platforms using our stack: Node.js, Ruby on Rails, Java/Spring Boot, .NET Core, React — following specifications under team guidance.

  • Fix bugs & maintain code in existing services, navigating a professional distributed codebase and applying code review feedback reliably.

  • Write tests & document your work clearly to maintain quality, coverage, and team knowledge — demonstrating steady progress iteration after iteration.

  • Explore AI-assisted engineering — we actively invest in AI-augmented workflows (coding assistants, agent automation, LLM integrations) and you'll be encouraged to engage with these tools.

  • Participate in agile ceremonies — stand-ups, sprint planning, and code reviews — keeping handoffs smooth and asking questions to understand how your work supports user needs.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

Technical skills

  • CS & SE fundamentals (Bachelor level): data structures, algorithms, system architecture, programming languages

  • Critical analysis and solution-oriented mindset

  • Exposure to any of our stack: Node.js, Rails, Java/.NET, React — curiosity counts

  • AI-assisted programming tools (Copilot, Cursor, etc.)

  • AI-powered application development (agents, LLM integrations)

  • Git / version control basics

  • Fluent French (spoken) · Good English (spoken & written)

Behavioural expectations

  • Asks questions and seeks to understand how their work impacts end users and business outcomes.

  • Applies code review feedback reliably and steadily expands their technical skills over time.

  • Reaches out for help proactively, communicates progress clearly, and keeps handoffs smooth.

  • Brings openness and enthusiasm to the team — learns fast, shares wins, and inspires peers.

WHAT YOU'LL GAIN

  • Real-world experience on production platforms used by thousands of organisations globally

  • Close mentorship from experienced engineers and a structured onboarding programme

  • Exposure to a modern, polyglot stack and cutting-edge AI engineering tooling

  • A strong foundation in software best practices within a global EdTech leader
