Impact Statement

At Fluke, we're building a unified software platform that enables seamless experiences across connected products, workflows, and customer journeys. As a Senior Product Manager, you will help shape the future of Fluke's software business by identifying new growth opportunities, scaling shared platform capabilities, and driving cross-business-unit alignment.

This role requires a strategic product leader who can move comfortably between zero-to-one innovation, platform strategy, product maturity, and execution. You will help transform a portfolio of individual applications into a cohesive ecosystem that unlocks greater customer value, accelerates innovation, and supports long-term business growth.

Role Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Product Manager to lead software products and platform initiatives that serve multiple business units across Fluke. The ideal candidate has experience launching new products from concept to market, scaling successful software solutions, and developing platform capabilities that enable multiple teams to move faster with consistency and reuse.

You will work closely with engineering, UX, commercial teams, customer-facing teams, and business leaders to define product vision, align investments across organizations, and deliver software experiences that integrate deeply with connected industrial devices and workflows.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define and execute platform product strategies that enable multiple product lines and business units.
  • Identify opportunities to create shared capabilities, services, APIs, data models, and user experiences that reduce duplication and accelerate delivery.
  • Champion platform-first thinking across product and engineering organizations while balancing local product needs with long-term scalability.
  • Translate platform strategy into clear roadmaps, measurable outcomes, and adoption plans for internal product teams.

Cross-BU Software Strategy

  • Partner with product leaders across business units to identify common customer needs and shared software opportunities.
  • Drive alignment on software portfolio priorities, technology direction, customer experience, and investment trade-offs.
  • Build business cases that demonstrate the value of reusable platform capabilities and cross-portfolio software investments.
  • Influence without authority across organizational boundaries to create alignment and deliver strategic outcomes.

Zero-to-One Innovation & Product Incubation

  • Lead customer discovery, market validation, and problem-framing for emerging software opportunities.
  • Translate ambiguous problem spaces into compelling product strategies, experiments, and executable roadmaps.
  • Drive rapid learning to validate customer value, product-market fit, and commercial viability.
  • Launch new software products and capabilities that create measurable customer and business value.

Product Growth & Maturity

  • Manage established products through growth, modernization, optimization, and lifecycle decisions.
  • Define success metrics and use customer, usage, and business insights to guide prioritization.
  • Improve customer adoption, engagement, retention, monetization, and satisfaction outcomes.
  • Balance tech debt, customer commitments, operational health, and new growth investments.

Hardware-Software Ecosystem Integration

  • Partner with hardware, firmware, cloud, and software engineering teams to create integrated hardware-software experiences.
  • Define software capabilities that enhance the value of connected products, device telemetry, data services, and customer workflows.
  • Develop a deep understanding of customer workflows involving electrical measurement, testing, calibration, monitoring, maintenance, or industrial asset management.
  • Drive strategies that connect Fluke devices, software applications, cloud services, and customer outcomes into cohesive experiences.

Product Delivery & Execution

  • Lead cross-functional teams through discovery, planning, development, launch, and iteration.
  • Translate strategy into prioritized roadmaps, requirements, acceptance criteria, and measurable outcomes.
  • Partner closely with engineering and design teams to deliver high-quality, secure, scalable software.
  • Communicate clearly with stakeholders and proactively manage dependencies, risks, and trade-offs.

Required Qualifications

  • 8+ years of product management experience delivering software products, SaaS products, or digital solutions.
  • Demonstrated experience delivering software products from concept through launch and customer adoption.
  • Experience managing mature products and driving growth, optimization, modernization, or lifecycle strategy.
  • Experience working closely with software engineering, UX, and Agile delivery teams.
  • Proven ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders and align teams around shared objectives.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to use customer insights, market signals, product data, and business outcomes to make decisions.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to create clear product narratives for technical, commercial, and executive audiences.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Technical background in software engineering, computer science, systems engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Experience building platform products, APIs, developer ecosystems, shared services, or reusable software components.
  • Experience leading initiatives that span multiple product teams, business units, or technology organizations.
  • Experience with SaaS, cloud-native architectures, IoT, connected products, device telemetry, data platforms, or industrial software.
  • Knowledge of electrical measurement, calibration, condition monitoring, test and measurement, or industrial asset management domains.
  • Experience integrating software products with connected hardware devices and customer workflows.
  • Familiarity with AI-enabled products, analytics-driven experiences, and modern software commercialization models.

What Success Looks Like

  • Drives adoption of platform-first thinking across product and engineering teams.
  • Creates reusable platform capabilities leveraged by multiple products or business units.
  • Launches new software capabilities that create measurable customer and business value.
  • Creates alignment across business units around common customer experiences and strategic roadmaps.
