Job Description
As a Security Officer Armed Patrol Driver Operations in New Orleans, LA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As an Armed Security Officer supporting a commercial real estate location, you will conduct routine vehicle patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and respond to concerns with professionalism. This driving post requires an armed guard card and valid driver’s license. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while representing Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, caring, team-focused, and integrity-driven values.

- Provide customer service to clients, residents, visitors, and property stakeholders by carrying out armed security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following applicable protocols and reporting requirements.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols of commercial properties, surrounding streets, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
- Observe and report suspicious activity, property damage, access concerns, and other security-related conditions to appropriate personnel and/or public agencies.
- Maintain accurate activity logs, incident reports, and communication with dispatch, supervisors, property representatives, and law enforcement as required.
Minimum Requirements:
- Possess an Armed Guard Card or License.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
