This position is responsible for designing and executing research projects, analyzing and communicating research findings through manuscripts, reports, and presentations, and contributing to the development of research proposals and grant applications. The Postdoctoral Research Associate will also provide mentorship and guidance to graduate students, support laboratory and research group activities, and foster a collaborative and productive research environment. Opportunities to Contribute Analyze and disseminate research findings through group meetings, presentations, manuscripts, scientific publications, and periodic reports. Maintain current knowledge of scientific advancements by reviewing relevant literature and participating in scientific meetings, seminars, and other professional development activities. Provide guidance and technical support to laboratory team members and mentor students. Contribute to the development and preparation of grant proposals. Maintain laboratory software and hardware resources while ensuring compliance with applicable safety standards and procedures. Qualifications Appropriate Ph.D. in Chemistry. A well-qualified candidate for this position will also possess: Ability to work effectively, productively, and efficiently. Ability to communicate effectively with other members of the lab. Ability to multi-task and work cooperatively with others. Ability to exercise discretion, independent judgment and make important decisions. Excellent verbal and written skills. Presentation skills. Analytical skills. Attention to detail. Salary: Compensation will be commensurate based on the selected candidate's education and experience. Special Note: Due to this position’s salary having all or a portion of it being funded by grants or contracts, the continuing salary and overall employment is contingent upon availability of these funds in the future.
