Single PositionView All JobsAdvanced Quality Planning ManagerWimborne, GBR, BH21 2BJApply NowAdd to cartFind out how well you match with this jobUpload your resumeJob descriptionCompany and benefitsJob Req ID69024Work TypeOnsiteDepartmentQualityHiring ProgramNot SpecifiedRelocation AssistanceNoEaton Wimborne Located in Wimborne, Dorset, Eaton's Aerospace division is a global leader in aerospace fuel systems, renowned for delivering fully integrated solutions for both fixed and rotary-wing aircraft.Our Wimborne facility specialises in cutting-edge air-to-air refuelling systems, advanced refuelling probes, air-to-air and air-to-ground launch systems utilising both pneumatic and pyrotechnic ejection technologies, as well as a range of Defensive Aids Sub-Systems. With over 80 years of industry experience, we are recognised as the world’s leading provider of air-to-air refuelling systems, offering fifth-generation solutions to Air Forces worldwide.Our legacy of innovation and technical excellence sets us apart as the most advanced air-to-air refuelling supplier on the global stage.What you’ll do: Quality authority within the New Product Introduction lifecycle from bid through to delivery of 1st production build.Act as the voice of the Customer to ensure the agreed requirements are met.Drive APQP activities to ensure RFT product build.Act as Quality focal within Design Teams delivering Quality solutions.AS9145 Advanced Part Quality Planning leadership and implementation, including embedment of EZDP program principles.Governance and oversight of Design Projects through the development process.Design Quality Support to technically complex investigations / improvement projects.Ensuring Quality plans are implemented and translated into robust production process controls.Engineering design data approvals; drawings, PATs, Design Specs.Airworthiness signatories to support DDP release.Change Control integrity – CRB attendance and engagement.Manage and host Product Development auditing activities.Determination and implementation of Quality improvement initiatives within development lifecycle.Co-operate with management to meet the employer’s legal duties and take reasonable care of their own health and safety and that of others who may be affected by their acts or omissions.Provide support and mentoring of the team as required including Personal Development Plans and succession planning.Qualifications: Engineer – HND/HNC or equivalent experienceWorked within a complex technically demanding design environmentGood working knowledge of Quality Standards such as AS9100, Part 21G, Part 145, DAOSGood working knowledge of AS9145, APQP, PPAP, 8D, FAIR, PFMEA, MSA, Control Plan.Experience in managing and leading teams.Skills: Right first-time approachTeam working    Problem solvingContinuous ImprovementCan do attitudeProven background in Quality Assurance and thorough understanding of Quality tools and techniques.Thorough understanding of AS9145 and associated APQP implementation.QMS implementation and auditing to recognised aerospace standards.Proven ability to understand and effectively flow down Customer Quality requirements and ensuring delivery of conforming products.Excellent root cause analysis and corrective action understanding.Core competency demonstrated within one or more of the following specialties: Software, Mechanical, Electrical, Metrology, Systems, Composites. Ability to influence peers, whilst challenging concepts and information objectively.Further competencies will be provided via the competency matrix, and linked to the relevant job levelProfessional conduct and good communication skills to influence both internally and externally.Attention to Detail/meticulousVoice of the customersDeliver to PromiseData based decision makingHonest and TransparentThe successful applicant will be in contact with US ITAR controlled technology, goods, and information.
