The Job:  

The Asst Manager Sales assumes sales leadership responsibility for planning, development, and implementation of all sales strategies for all general industry customers for the region. He/she will focus on continuous innovation and profitable above-market growth, including long- and short-term revenue planning He/she will develop and expedite strategies to grow revenue and market share with the respective OEMs and Tier Customers. In addition, the incumbent will strategize to penetrate different sectors/countries for our fastener business. He/she will be responsible for the implementation of Global processes as per corporate guideline.

Responsible for driving sales and business development of industrial fasteners to major OEMs and end-users in the West region of India. The candidate will focus on building and managing relationships with clients in Electronics, EMS, Electricals, Home Appliance, HVAC sectors, ensuring revenue growth and market share expansion.

You’ll get to:

  • Develop and execute sales strategies for fasteners in the targeted industrial segments.
  • Identify and engage with key OEMs, Tier-1 suppliers, and large end-users.
  • Manage existing accounts and develop new business opportunities.
  • Prepare and deliver technical presentations, proposals, and quotations.
  • Coordinate with internal teams (engineering, supply chain, customer service) to fulfill customer requirements.
  • Track market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs.
  • Achieve sales targets, manage pricing, and negotiate contracts.
  • Provide regular sales forecasts and reports to management.

You also have: 

  • Ability to read engineering drawings; familiarity with AutoCAD, Catia, and other design platforms.
  • Key Account Management (KAM) for electronics, automotive, and energy sector clients; responsible for day-to-day relationship management.
  • Self-driven to acquire new customers in the region (e.g., Schneider, Bloom Energy, ABB, GE Medical, Cisco, Jio.
  • Build, maintain, and manage relationships with current and prospective channel partners.
  • Establish productive, professional relationships with key personnel in assigned partner accounts.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams (CFT) and resolve tasks independently.
  • Sell through partner organizations to end users in coordination with partner sales resources.
  • Achieve assigned targets for profitable sales volume and operating margin in assigned accounts.
  • Ensure partner compliance with Channel Partner programs and agreements (e.g., NDA, MPA).
  • Participate in partner planning processes to develop mutual performance objectives, financial targets, and critical milestones for productive partner relationships.
  • Previous experience driving channel sales within similar product categories/industries.
  • Experience managing partner relationships focused on developing and delivering service offerings tied to vendor products.
  • Experience selling to both automotive and industrial markets.
  • Demonstrated progressive experience in B2B sales.
  • Demonstrated experience selling engineering products in assigned territory via a channel model.
  • Effective communicator with excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build strong relationships with partners.
  • Strong personal network within the industry.
  • Highly motivated, results-driven, and able to work well under pressure.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • High level of organization and attention to detail.
  • Strong work ethic and willingness to take initiative.
  • Positive attitude toward teamwork and ability to work independently.
  • Demonstrated ability to multitask and prioritize.

  • Willingness to travel within the assigned region as required.
  • Experience with CRM tools and sales reporting.
  • Ability to analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities.
  • Knowledge of commercial terms, negotiation, and contract management.
  • Ability to provide technical support and product training to customers and partners.
  • Experience in handling RFQs, tenders, and pricing negotiations.
