This role is built for someone who genuinely connects with patients, stays organized under volume, and takes pride in keeping people engaged in their own care. As a KangarooHealth MA, you’ll be the frontline touchpoint for patients managing chronic conditions like Hypertension, Diabetes, Heart Failure, and COPD—helping them stay on track, stay connected, and stay healthy between visits.What You’ll DoYou’ll conduct daily patient outreach—Welcome Calls, Compliance Calls, alert outreach calls and escalation to providers based on specific SOP, and enrollment support—while documenting interactions accurately in the KangarooHealth monitoring platform. You may also interact with client clinical team using the Client's EMRWe’re Looking for Someone Who Is:Empathetic and patient-centered—you treat every call like it matters, because it doesHighly organized and self-directed—you manage your schedule, your queue, and your documentation without being micromanagedComfortable with technology—you adapt quickly to new platforms, EMRs, and digital workflowsA clear, confident communicator—both on the phone with patients and in written documentationCalm under volume—you stay focused and professional when the caseload is heavyCommitted to quality and compliance—you do the job right, every timeRequirementsActive national MA certification: CMA (AAMA), RMA (AMT), CCMA (NHA), NCMA (NCCT), or equivalent3+ years of clinical experience in a hospital, family practice, or geriatric setting3+ years of EMR documentation experience; ability to learn new platforms quickly1+ year of remote work experience with high-volume patient phone engagementTechnical fluency with G-Suite, Microsoft Office, Hubspot, Slack, Zoom, Epic, ECW, Athena, and similar platformsStrong working knowledge of chronic conditions and their management (HTN, DM, CHF, COPD)Familiarity with RPM/CCM billing codes (e.g., 99453, 99454, 99457, 99458, 99490, 99439)Bilingual fluency in Spanish or Russian preferredReliable high-speed internet, dedicated computer, and a private, HIPAA-compliant home workspaceAvailable to work 40 hours per week aligned with client clinic hours (e.g., 9AM–6PM local time)Key FunctionsConduct patient outreach and enrollment activities for remote patient monitoring programsExecute Welcome Calls, Compliance Calls, and vitals review follow-upIdentify and escalate clinical risk indicators (out-of-range readings, patient concerns) to the nursing teamGuide patients through device activation, setup, and 4G device troubleshootingAccurately document all patient interactions in the KangarooHealth monitoring platform per protocolAssist with device ordering and re-ordering as neededMaintain full compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, and all company policies and Code of ConductSupport onboarding and orientation of new clinical team membersCompensation & Benefits$39K–$48K  |  based on experience and certificationBase salary plus bonusFully remote — no commute, no relocationMedical, Dental, Vision, FSA, Life and AD&D insurance401(k) retirement planPaid time offUpward growth and promotion opportunities within a fast-growing digital health startupKangarooHealth is an equal opportunity employer.
