We’re looking for QA Engineering Leads to work on our core and business products (Instagram, Messenger, Facebook, GenAI, Growth, Engagement, Ads, Privacy) to help shape the future of what we build at Meta. You enjoy solving quality challenges on products built in cutting edge technology serving billions of people worldwide.

Required Skills:

QA Engineering Lead Responsibilities:

1. Plan, develop and execute product quality strategies for Meta's products

1. Develop test strategies for business critical projects to ensure product correctness before launch

1. Collaborate with a team of in-house and offshore testers to conduct black box testing

1. Spearhead initiatives that influence engineering organizations to build a quality-driven approach

1. Partner with engineering and infrastructure teams to leverage automation for scalable solutions to prevent regressions and ensure reliability of products

1. Identify gaps and opportunities to improve quality

1. Define and implement QA processes to optimize and scale testing within the product

1. Establish and drive the adoption of quality metrics that help measure test effectiveness, efficiency, and overall quality of product

1. Assess non-functional (e.g. i18n, l10n, a11y) product quality in collaboration with other quality focused teams and provide key insights to product teams

1. Engage and influence stakeholders across all levels and functions to keep them informed of the quality program's progress and secure their buy-in on critical decisions

Minimum Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, relevant technical field, or equivalent practical experience

1. 7+ years of quality Engineering and/or test engineering experience

1. Experience with QA process and methodologies

1. Hands-on experience with planning, designing, executing tests and knowledge of performance and stress testing

1. Experience implementing and maintaining quality test automation for both mobile and web applications

1. Experience in coordinating testing efforts between onsite and offshore teams

1. Experience in Python, PHP, Java, C/C++ or equivalent coding language

1. Experience communicating with technical and non-technical stakeholders across all levels of the organization

1. Experience with ambiguity and having initiative to improve product quality coverage and effectiveness

1. Experience in technical leadership, project management, and executive communication

1. Experience in project management approaches, tools and phases of a project life cycle

1. Experience working across multiple cross functional engineering teams globally

1. Experience of industry standard test automation tools and automation frameworks

1. Demonstrated ongoing AI skill development (e.g., prompt/context engineering, agent orchestration) and staying current with emerging AI technologies

1. Demonstrated ability to integrate AI tools to optimize/redesign workflows and drive measurable impact (e.g., efficiency gains, quality improvements)

1. Experience navigating ambiguous problem spaces by defining scope, identifying priorities, and driving clarity for cross-functional partners

1. Experience adhering to and implementing responsible, ethical AI practices (e.g., risk assessment, bias mitigation, quality and accuracy reviews)

Public Compensation:

$138,000/year to $191,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits
