This role requires strong engineering fundamentals, the ability to independently solve mechanical engineering problems, and experience with OEM fluid and pneumatic components and plastic materials.The engineer is expected to design subsystems from concept through qualification using minimum guidance, proactively manage technical risks using FMEA and structured problem‑solving methods, and collaborate closely with cross‑functional teams including Product Support and Supply Chain to ensure robust, production‑ready solutions.What you’ll do Design and develop mechanical subsystems for Semiconductor Wafer Fabrication tools for NPD, CIP and SustanenceApply engineering first principles to solve mechanical engineering problemsPerform OEM component selection eg: valves, regulators, fittings, tubing, and sensorsDesign components using sheet metal, metals, plastic and polymer materials for wet and chemical environmentsCollaborate with CFTs such as Product Support, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, and Systems teamsExecute medium complex subsystem designs from concept through qualification and releaseSupport prototype build, testing, debugging, and qualification activitiesMaintain clear documentation of designs, calculations, risks, and decisionsWho we’re looking for Minimum Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field with 2 - 5 years of experience; or Master’s degree up to 3 years; or equivalent experience.Excellent communication, both written and verbal, and technical presentation skills.Highly proficient in 3D CAD tools such as CREO, Siemens NX, SolidWorks, and others.Hands-on experimental and design background coupled with solid engineering skillsCore Competencies Strong foundation in any one mechanical engineering domain (Structural/fluid/thermal)Ability to independently solve medium complex engineering problemsStrong grasp of engineering fundamentals and first principlesUnderstanding of OEM fluid and pneumatic component selectionExposure to plastic, sheet metal and chemical‑compatible designsExposure to FMEA and reliability principlesBehavioral Expectations Operates independently while knowing when to seek inputTakes ownership when challenged; drives issues to resolutionCommunicates clearly with the right level of technical detailCollaborates effectively across functions with mutual trust and respectMaintains focus and execution discipline in a dynamic NPD environmentOur commitment We believe it is important for every person to feel valued, included, and empowered to achieve their full potential.
