This role is responsible for delivering key projects relevant to site business applications and ERP systems. This includes, but not limited to, SAP/ERP, R&D Systems, Manufacturing Systems, Laboratory Systems, and Quality Systems.
This role requires strong technical skills, familiarity with IT Service standards, business applications, manufacturing & scientific data, as well as extensive problem-solving skills. The incumbent will also need to have a good understanding of laboratory & manufacturing processes and instrumentation utilized. Additionally, this role will work with global business applications and ERP teams to implement company standards vendor-based consultants and services to ensure continued operation of commercial off the shelf (COTS) systems, and interfaces and integrations to other systems
Job Responsibilities
Digital Project Delivery & Continuous Improvement
Conducts organized investigations with a well-defined scope, strategy, and timeline, documenting status and progress of Lead site Digital projects comprising of business applications and ERP deliverables to meet site objectives.
Build good effective working relationships within the digital network and the customer to maximize inter-departmental synergy.
Drive continuous improvement in line with site digital direction through standardization, process automation, and operational efficiencies.
SAP / ERP Site Leadership & Support
Support Site ERP Program during deployment and lead the onsite post deployment care.
Act as the primary site liaison to the central ERP team and central business applications team, representing site demands, priorities, and requirements for SAP and business application improvements.
Serve as the site SAP Support Lead, acting as the site’s point of contact for all SAP-related issues, enhancements, and escalations at the site level.
Manage and triage SAP incidents and service requests via ServiceNow, ensuring timely resolution and adherence to SLA commitments.
Partner with site business stakeholders to identify SAP process gaps, drive continuous improvement initiatives, and support end-user training and adoption.
Provide support across the site's broader business application portfolio (including R&D, Manufacturing, Laboratory, and Quality systems), managing incidents, enhancements, and lifecycle activities in coordination with global application owners.
Compliance, Security & Quality Governance
Ensure Confidentiality, Integrity, and Availability of information in accordance with SLAs.
Ensure all site training requirements are met timely.
Assist with implementation of corporate policies and procedures.
Facilitate site inspections, audits, and incident response teams as needed.
Experience & Education
Minimum Qualifications
Demonstrated hands-on experience configuring, supporting, and troubleshooting SAP/ERP systems, ideally in a regulated (GxP) environment.
Working knowledge of enterprise business applications across R&D, Manufacturing, Laboratory, and Quality domains, including their interfaces and integrations to other systems.
Solid understanding of laboratory and manufacturing processes, instrumentation, and the scientific and manufacturing data they generate.
Familiarity with IT service management standards and tools (e.g., ITIL, ServiceNow), including incident, service-request, and SLA management.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to lead structured investigations and resolve complex, cross-system issues.
Ability to plan and lead site-level digital projects — determining resources, timelines, and priorities in coordination with multiple functional areas.
Demonstrated ability to build effective working relationships and influence stakeholders across a global, cross-functional network.
Knowledge of information security principles (confidentiality, integrity, and availability) and experience supporting audits, inspections, and computer system validation.
Ability to work independently through ambiguous, complex situations with minimal supervision, and to communicate technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
Minimum Qualifications
7+ years of experience with SAP, and business applications development and support,
Manufacturing environmental experience.
Excellent project planning and management experience with At least one full ERP implementation experience required.

Our target base pay hiring range for this position is $80,000.00 - $128,750.00 per year. Actual base pay is dependent upon a number of factors, including but not limited to, the candidate’s geographical location, relevant experience, qualifications, skills and knowledge.
