Patient Service Rep
Location: Trinity Health Ann Arbor, Warde Medical Lab
Status: Part Time 20 Hours per week
Note: This is a fully on-site role

POSITION PURPOSE
Representatives provide customer support to client callers, and assist Client Service Specialists in maintaining service excellence. Respond to client inquiries, research test information, assist with transmitting reportable results to government agencies, and monitor pending test lists.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Answer client phone calls and assist with inquiries regarding test information and patient results. Refer complex issues to the appropriate Client Service Specialist as needed.
- Reconcile pending test lists from clients and monitor/investigate tests pending at referral laboratories.
- Reconcile Warde daily and/or weekly pending lists.
- Support Client Service Specialists by researching test information, entering client responses into the LIS, and contacting clients as needed.
- Assist the Client Services Manager with special projects.
- Perform administrative duties as needed.
- Assist with reference lab reporting.
- Demonstrate accountability by communicating with colleagues on other shifts to resolve client concerns.
- Complete daily EPI reporting, transmit reportable infectious disease results to government agencies, and obtain missing patient demographic information from clients.
- Review cytogenetic reports in the LIS for completion and enter results for incomplete tests.
