This is a unique opportunity to shape the employee experience at a fast-moving robotics company - hands-on and strategic, with real ownership across the HR function.What You'll DoEmployee Lifecycle & OperationsOwn end-to-end onboarding and offboarding processes, ensuring every new hire has a smooth, welcoming experience and a fast ramp-up, including leading New Hire OrientationHelp coordinate offer letters and employment agreementsMaintain HRIS data integrity, manage employee data changes, and identify opportunities to streamline workflows and build scalable people processesBenefits, Rewards & WellbeingAdminister and continuously improve our employee benefits programsServe as the go-to resource for benefits questions and lead open enrollmentPartner with leadership to develop competitive compensation and rewards frameworks that attract and retain top talentChampion employee wellbeing initiatives and help maintain a healthy, safe work environmentLearning, Development & PerformanceDesign and support performance review cycles that are meaningful, fair, and actionableIdentify learning and development opportunities that help employees grow in their roles and careersPartner with managers to build development plans and support career progression across the teamCulture, Engagement & CommunicationPlay an active role in fostering an inclusive, high-performance culture that reflects our valuesDevelop and run employee engagement initiatives, feedback programs, and internal communicationsCreate channels for employee participation and ensure team members feel heard and connected to the company missionHelp organize team events, offsites, and culture-building moments as we growImmigration & ComplianceEnsure compliance with local, state, and federal employment laws and internal policiesCoordinate visa sponsorships and work authorization processes (H-1B, O-1, J-1 applications/transfers/renewals, green cards) in partnership with TA for pre-hire assessments and immigration counsel, driving and monitoring all processes from day one through employee tenure, including transitions such as F-1 to H-1B and H-1B through the green card process.Navigate multi-state compliance requirementsWhat We're Looking For7+ years of HR experience, ideally in a startup or high-growth tech environmentA strong generalist background - comfortable going from strategic thinking to rolling up your sleeves on administrative tasksFamiliarity with HR platforms such as RipplingStrong knowledge of California employment law and complianceA people-first mindset with excellent communication and interpersonal skillsProactive, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentExperience building and scaling advanced compensation programs in emerging marketsWhy This RoleBuild the people foundation at one of the most ambitious robotics companies in the worldHigh ownership from day one - you'll shape HR processes, not just execute themWork closely with leadership and have direct impact on company culture and employee experienceApply for this Job
