Peec AI helps teams track their visibility, measure performance, and uncover opportunities to grow their organic presence in an increasingly complex search landscape.About the rolePeec AI is looking for a Working Student in Finance & Accounting to run the day-to-day finance operations across our German and US entities. This is a detailed, hands-on role for someone who wants to grow into a finance operations and accounting career, and who is excited to build that foundation inside a fast-scaling, international company.You will be the engine behind our monthly rhythm. You keep invoices moving, help prepare a fast and accurate month-end close, and make sure our accounting firm and tax advisors always have what they need. You care about getting the details right, you enjoy bringing order to operational processes, and you see policies not as red tape but as the guardrails that let a growing company move quickly.You will sit at the center of things. You are the bridge between our core finance team, budget owners and employees across the company, and our external partners. As complexity increases in our day-to-day operations, you grow with it, taking on more ownership as the organization scales. What you'll doOwn day-to-day finance operations for our German and US entitiesPrepare invoices for payment and run the accounts payable process end to endSupport the billing process, and interface with Sales and RevOps in the Deal DeskSupport Accounting with revenue recognition and make sure that we have accurate data in our source systems.Handle preparatory accounting tasks for month-end close, and make sure our accounting firm has the documentation it needs for a fast, clean closingWork directly with our tax advisors, budget owners, and employees across the companyEnforce and maintain our internal policy frameworksManage the dunning process, staying in touch with customers on outstanding payments, and partner with our Customer Experience team on complex collection casesSupport employees with submitting expense reports and keep documentation in orderWork with our US and German tax advisor on employee benefits tracking, and support payroll from the finance side What we're looking forCurrently enrolled full time in a BA or MSc program in Berlin, for the full duration of the roleAvailable 20 hours per weekA genuine interest in developing into a finance operations and accounting careerStrong attention to detail and a structured, reliable way of workingComfortable owning operational processes and following them through to completionA clear communicator who can act as a bridge between internal teams and external stakeholdersDiscretion and sound judgment when handling confidential, time-critical workFluent in English (German is a strong plus) Bonus pointsFirst practical experience in finance, accounting, or bookkeeping (internship or working student role)Familiarity with accounts payable, month-end close, or expense management toolsExposure to international or multi-entity setups, especially Germany and the USComfort working with tax advisors, payroll providers, or external accounting firmsApply for this Job
