About the Role

You will lead complex Epics, programmes, and business transformation initiatives within the Technology & Agile Product Enablement Team, with a strong focus on regulatory change, digital enablement, customer journey improvement, and operational readiness.

You will work in a fast-paced, evolving environment where priorities may change, partnering with senior business, technology, risk, compliance, operations, product, and regulatory stakeholders to turn complex requirements into clear delivery plans and sustainable outcomes.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead large, complex, and highly visible Epics, projects, and programmes across Business and IT, using Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery approaches as appropriate.
  • Partner with senior leaders up to VP and business CEO level to shape, prioritise, and deliver initiatives that support business goals, regulatory expectations, and customer outcomes.
  • Chair Steering Committees and provide clear, decision-ready updates on scope, time, budget, risk, customer impact, and regulatory considerations.
  • Own delivery governance, including RAID management, decision logs, evidence capture, reporting cadence, stakeholder engagement, and proactive risk and issue resolution.
  • Drive business readiness by working with Operations, Product, Compliance, Risk, Technology, and Business Readiness SMEs to ensure change is understood, adopted, and delivered effectively.
  • Lead feasibility, scoping, requirements, and impact assessment activities across customer, operational, regulatory, and technology dimensions.
  • Support cross-functional teams across locations and time zones by setting clear expectations, managing competing priorities, and seeing work through to completion.

What You’ll Bring

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in Epic, programme, or project management, including Agile, iterative, incremental, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery.
  • Experience delivering large digital, regulatory, customer journey, or business transformation programmes.
  • Strong understanding of regulatory, compliance, operational resilience, and consumer protection issues within health insurance or financial services.
  • Experience translating complex regulatory, operational, or digital requirements into practical delivery plans, business readiness activity, and sustainable change.
  • Proven ability to manage budgets, financial forecasting, planning, cost control, and benefits discipline across multi-year initiatives.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to create clear written, verbal, and presentation materials for senior stakeholders.

  • Budgeting, forecasting, planning, RAID management, governance reporting, and delivery controls.
  • Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Project.

Preferred skills

  • Business degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • Project or programme management certifications such as MSP, PMP, PRINCE2.
  • Experience managing global virtual teams.
  • Experience with large-scale systems environments, multiple Scrum teams, and Release Trains.
