Job Description
As a Security Officer - Corporate Lobby Patrol, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a premier commercial real estate location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for tenants and visitors. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and report security-related concerns. - Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, contractors, and property management personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of commercial property common areas, lobbies, exterior grounds, parking facilities, loading areas, and perimeter access points to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
- Monitor access points and observe visitor, contractor, and delivery activity in accordance with site procedures; report unauthorized access attempts and security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and actions taken according to site requirements.
- Maintain clear and professional communication with property personnel, tenants, and emergency responders while completing accurate activity, incident, and shift reports.
Minimum Requirements:
- Possess a valid New York State Security Guard License.
- Have at least 6 months of security-related experience.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- X-Ray screening experience is preferred.
- Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
