Job Title: Warehouse Operative
Location: Belfast
Work Pattern: Part Time, Sunday 09:00-13:00 (4 hours per week)
Summary of Role
We are looking for a dependable and detail-focused Warehouse Operative to join our Belfast distribution team. Working within a fast-paced healthcare environment, you will be responsible for accurately picking and assembling orders, ensuring products are handled safely and efficiently. This role plays an important part in supporting the delivery of essential healthcare products to customers across the region.
Responsibilities
- Accurately pick products using handheld scanning equipment.
- Assemble customer orders in line with operational procedures.
- Move between warehouse stations and work areas as required.
- Manage stock exceptions and follow correct escalation procedures.
- Handle products carefully and report any damages immediately.
- Report pick face and stock location discrepancies to the Team Leader or Supervisor.
- Adhere to all housekeeping, PPE, health and safety, and company procedures.
- Carry out reasonable duties as requested by Service Centre Management.

- Awareness of warehouse health and safety requirements.

High School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience required. 2+ years of experience in warehouse support, distribution operations, shipping, receiving, inventory control, material handling, or a related field required. Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP), or equivalent certification preferred. Knowledge in fleet operations administration and transportation support processes. Knowledge in warehouse operations including receiving, storage, order preparation, shipment processing, and inventory movement. Knowledge in logistics documentation, transaction controls, and operational record maintenance. Knowledge in warehouse and transportation systems used for status updates, tracking, and transaction processing. Knowledge in loss prevention, material handling, and operational control requirements. Ability to process routine and moderately complex operational activities within established procedures. Ability to identify causes of routine operational issues, analyze basic data, and support issue resolution. Ability to maintain accurate operational records and transaction visibility across logistics workflows. Ability to communicate with internal and external contacts to obtain or provide operational information of moderate importance. Ability to support continuous improvement changes in systems and processes within defined guidelines.What Cencora offers
