Commercial Technical Support Manager France & South Europe
Join Ecolab as Commercial Technical Support Manager France & South Europe and help customers achieve safer, cleaner and more efficient operations. In this role, you will lead technical support across France, Iberia and Italy, partner closely with sales, marketing, R&D and customer-facing teams, and ensure that our product, application and service expertise delivers measurable value in the market.
What You Will Do:
Lead the technical/applicational support strategy for France, Iberia and Italy, aligning local market priorities with European technical service goals.
Manage and develop a team of four technical/scientific associates across Europe, creating focus, clarity and strong collaboration across countries.
Act as a key member of the country cluster leadership team and collaborate with sales, marketing, technical service, R&D and customer teams.
Provide expert technical guidance on Ecolab products, applications and dispensing equipment to field sales, corporate accounts, distribution partners and customers.
Support customer opportunities, tenders and roll-outs by translating technical and chemical expertise into clear, value-based recommendations.
Partner with commercial teams to identify customer needs, performance goals and opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce total cost of ownership and deliver measurable value.
Build trusted technical relationships at customer sites through meetings, workshops, audits, industry forums and in-field support.
Lead troubleshooting and complaint support by combining product knowledge, application expertise, sample management and quality processes.
Coordinate field testing for European innovations and support successful launches through familiarisation trials, refresher training and market implementation support.
Capture market intelligence and voice-of-customer insights to help identify gaps, shape innovation opportunities and strengthen the product and service portfolio.
Work with sales leaders to identify technical capability gaps and define training priorities that strengthen field execution.
Champion safe working practices during travel, customer visits and all on-site activities.
What You Will Bring:
Master’s degree in chemistry, chemical engineering or a comparable technical discipline.
At least five years of experience in technical service, research and development, product application support or a related field, with leadership responsibility.
Strong customer focus and the ability to translate technical expertise into practical business value.
Proven ability to lead change, inspire people and manage multiple priorities across countries, functions and stakeholders.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills in both in-person and virtual environments.
Strong planning, organisational and strategic thinking skills, combined with a hands-on approach and a digital mindset.
Fluency in English & Italian, both written and spoken. Spanish language skills preferred
Willingness to travel up to 50% across the region.
Preferred location: Vimercate, Italy.

Compensation Range:
The annual pay range for this position is 75,300-94,200-113,100 EUR this position is eligible for annual bonusBenefits:
