About this opportunity:
We are looking for a security-focused C++ Software Developer & Security Master to join our agile team developing the CSM (Common Stream Mediation / Ericsson Stream Mediation) microservices within the Ericsson Stream Processing and Enrichment (ESPE) project.
CSM is a key component responsible for processing and mediating large-scale 4G and 5G RAN Performance Management data streams. As part of ENM's next-generation architecture, the team develops cloud-native microservices that handle high-volume, mission-critical telecom data. In this role, you will combine hands-on software development with security leadership responsibilities. As the team's Security Master, you will drive security awareness, vulnerability management, compliance activities, and secure software development practices while actively contributing to the design and implementation of C++ microservices.

What you will do (as part of agile team):
• Design, develop, test, and maintain CSM microservices using modern C++ • Participate in the complete software development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, design, implementation, testing, integration, release, and maintenance • Develop high-quality, maintainable, and scalable software following Ericsson engineering standards • Troubleshoot and resolve complex product and customer-reported issues • Perform code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of development practices • Collaborate with architects, developers, testers, and product stakeholders across ENM and ESPE organizations • Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and automated testing solutions
Security Master responsibilities:
• Drive security activities within the team and act as the primary security focal point • Coordinate vulnerability management, CVE analysis, remediation planning, and security follow-ups • Support secure coding practices and security-by-design principles • Monitor compliance with Ericsson security requirements and processes • Facilitate security assessments, risk evaluations, and security-related audits • Work closely with Product Security, Security Champions, and development teams to improve the security posture of the product • Promote security awareness and knowledge sharing within the team

The skills you bring:
• BSc or MSc degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related field • Software development experience in C++ • Good understanding of Linux-based development environments • Experience with software design, debugging, troubleshooting, and performance optimization • Understanding of software security principles and secure coding practices • Ability to work effectively in an agile and cross-functional team • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills • Good command of English, both written and spoken
Advantage if you have qualifications & experience in:
• Telecommunications, OSS, or Network Management domains • Cloud-native and microservice-based applications • Security vulnerability management (CVEs, vulnerability remediation, threat analysis) • Security Master, Security Champion, or Product Security related responsibilities • CI/CD, DevOps, and test automation practices
