Global Risk Consulting is seeking candidates for the following position based in the Milan office: Strategy Implementation & Transformation Associate
Risk Consulting, a business unit of Marsh Risk, provides clients with strategic advice and innovative solutions across a broad range of insurable and non-insurable risks. Leveraging industry-leading data, analytics, and deep risk expertise, Risk Consulting helps clients identify their most significant risks, quantify potential losses, and make informed decisions about risk appetite and resilience.
As a Strategy Implementation & Transformation Associate, you will support the Global Risk Consulting Leadership team in delivering high-impact, cross-functional initiatives that shape the future of the business. Reporting directly to the Global Strategy Implementation & Transformation Leader, you will play an active role in turning strategic priorities into action.
This is a highly visible internal consulting role with a strong focus on strategy execution, transformation, project management, and financial planning. While the role is not client-facing, it offers broad exposure to senior stakeholders and close collaboration with colleagues across EMEA, Asia Pacific, Latin America, the US and Canada, as well as with key functions including Finance, Marketing, Sales, and Talent.

We will count on you to:
Drive strategic initiatives and transformation projects
Support the design and execution of strategic projects aimed at improving profitability, addressing critical business challenges, and increasing consistency across regions
Coordinate cross-functional initiatives and help ensure that strategic priorities are translated into clear actions, milestones, and measurable outcomes
Partner with Global and Regional Leaders to monitor progress, track key deliverables, and support implementation of transformation programs
Prepare high-quality presentations, briefing materials, and decision-making documents for senior leadership discussions
Support business growth and innovation
Conduct market and competitor research to identify trends, opportunities, and potential M&A targets that can strengthen market positioning
Contribute to strategic analyses and business cases that inform leadership decisions and investment priorities
Enable people and organizational development
Collaborate with the International Talent Manager on initiatives that enhance connectivity, mobility, engagement, and development across the global Risk Consulting community
Support the design and rollout of programs that strengthen collaboration, knowledge-sharing, and talent growth across regions
What you need to have:
Master’s degree in economics, Management, Engineering, or a related field
At least 1 year of experience in consulting, strategic planning, financial analysis, or business transformation within banking, insurance, Big 4, or a large corporate environment
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to structure complex topics and turn insights into action
Ability to work independently, exercise sound judgment, and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Fluency in spoken and written English (minimum C1), as the role operates in an international environment and most interactions are in English
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially PowerPoint and Excel

What we offer:
The position is offered on a permanent basis.
We propose a gross annual salary starting from € 32.000 for a full-time position. Depending on experience, skills and qualifications, we are willing to consider compensation above the starting salary. Variable remuneration may be granted in accordance with company policy. Further details will be shared during the selection process or directly in the employment contract.
