About the Role:

We are looking for an experienced RTR Senior Accountant to join our finance team and support the German and Polish markets. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely Record-to-Report (RTR) processes, supporting month-end close activities, maintaining master data, and delivering high-quality financial reporting. 

 

Key responsibilities: 

• Execute month-end closing (MEC) activities, including depreciation runs, trial balance review, accrual releases, long-term postings, foreign exchange (FX) revaluation, and prepayments. 

• Process General Ledger (GL) journal entries in line with client requests. 

• Manage fixed asset accounting activities, including asset creation, modification, retirement, and disposal. 

• Prepare and maintain General Ledger account reconciliations, ensuring completeness and accuracy. 

• Maintain Vendor Master Data by processing requests for creation, modification, blocking and deletion. 

• Prepare regular reports and analyses related to RTR processes and assigned responsibilities. 

• Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting policies, and established procedures. 

• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to resolve accounting issues and support continuous process improvements. 

• Support the coordination of day-to-day RTR team activities, helping prioritize and distribute workload, monitoring task completion, fostering strong client relationships. 

Qualifications:   

• Fluent in German, English, and Polish (written and spoken). 

• Experience in Record-to-Report (RTR) required. 

• Experience with SAP 4HANA would be an asset. 

• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint. 

• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. 

• Ability to work under pressure, especially during month-end and year-end closing. 

• Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills. 

• Proactive, collaborative, and solution-oriented mindset.
