- Develop and execute territory growth plans to achieve and exceed sales objectives while increasing market share.
- Identify, qualify, and develop new business opportunities within industrial OEM and project markets.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, key accounts, design institutes, equipment manufacturers, and automation system integrators.
- Provide technical and commercial support to customers throughout the sales process.
- Recommend customized solutions from Emerson’s comprehensive product and solutions portfolio to address customer needs.
- Conduct technical discussions, product selection support, quotation preparation, commercial negotiations, and order follow-up activities.
- Gather market intelligence, industry trends, and competitive insights to support business and product development initiatives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver customer-focused solutions and enhance market competitiveness.
- Expand Emerson’s presence in emerging markets and industries through proactive customer engagement and business development activities.
- Maintain accurate customer and opportunity information and support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Perform other responsibilities as assigned to support business objectives.

For This Role, You Will Need:
- Bachelor’s degree in Automation, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and relevant experience.
- Experience supporting the sales of factory automation, industrial automation, motion control, pneumatic, electric actuator, or related technologies.
- Knowledge of industrial customers, OEMs, project business environments, or automation system integrators.
- Ability to identify business opportunities, develop customer relationships, and support territory growth initiatives.
- Strong communication, relationship-building, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to conduct technical and commercial discussions with customers and stakeholders.
- Proficiency with standard business software and digital tools.
- Ability to read and write in English for business communication.
- Self-motivated approach with a customer-focused mindset and a commitment to achieving results.
Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:
- Experience with pneumatic systems, electric actuators, valve automation, or related automation technologies.
- Industry experience supporting customers in laser cutting, battery manufacturing, food and beverage, advanced manufacturing, AI-related industries, or similar sectors.
- Understanding of industrial automation applications, solution selling, and project-based business development.
- Experience managing strategic customer accounts and developing new market segments.
- Familiarity with market analysis, competitive intelligence, and customer solution development.
