You see the invisible waste in workflows that everyone else has learned to live with, and you have the tools to fix it. At SA Expeditions, you'll apply the principles of lean process design and modern AI tooling to the operational backbone of a luxury travel company — re-engineering the workflows that accounting, marketing, and sales managers rely on every day, so the business can scale without scaling headcount at the same rate. This is a hands-on building role. You'll spend your time embedded with internal teams, identifying friction, prototyping automations, and rolling them out to the people who use them.🛠 What You'll BuildAI-First Workflows. You'll identify manual bottlenecks across the company — from lead scoring and CRM hygiene in sales, to campaign reporting and content workflows in marketing, to reconciliation and invoicing in accounting — and architect automated solutions using a stack of modern AI tools, LLMs, and automation platforms.Process Maps That Matter. You'll map how work actually flows between teams, applying lean principles to eliminate admin drag, duplicate data entry, and handoffs that stall.Adoption That Sticks. You'll work alongside team leads in accounting, marketing, and sales to roll out new tools thoughtfully — gathering feedback, iterating on adoption, and making sure new workflows actually get used.A Continuous Improvement Loop. You'll establish the feedback channels that turn frontline frustrations into shipped optimizations, fast.🎯 Who You AreA Systems Thinker. Whether it's a car assembly line or a month-end close, you instinctively see where the process is stuttering and how to smooth it out.An AI Power-User. You don't just use ChatGPT for emails — you're an explorer of the new frontier. You stay up late testing how agents, scrapers, and automation layers can solve real business problems. An Empathic Builder. You understand that "process" can be a scary word, especially for teams who've been doing things their way for years. You listen to stakeholders' frustrations first, ensuring that any change you implement solves their pain while serving the company's scale.A Cross-Functional Translator. You're comfortable shifting from a conversation about pipeline stages with a sales manager, to invoice workflows with accounting, to attribution data with marketing — and finding the common patterns underneath. An Intellectual Voyager. You're deeply curious. You enjoy learning about different industries and finding non-obvious patterns that can be cross-pollinated.✅ What You Bring2-5 years of hands-on process experience in business process optimization, operations engineering, revenue operations, or a similar role. Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies (formal certification is a plus, not a requirement).A track record of shipping AI tools or automation workflows that solved specific business bottlenecks — not pilots that stalled, but workflows that real users adopted.Experience working across functions — ideally with some combination of sales, marketing, and finance/accounting teams. You know that an automation in one system usually touches three others.Comfort rolling out new tools to end users, with sensitivity to adoption and change. You don't need to have run formal change management programs, but you should have a feel for what makes new tools stick.Data literacy. You can look at cycle time, error rates, and throughput data to prove the ROI of your process changes.Industry-agnostic perspective. We value the fact that you've seen how things work in different sectors; your ability to adapt that knowledge to travel is your greatest asset.🧰 Tools in Your KitExpect to work across: LLM platforms (Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini), automation layers (Zapier, Make, n8n), agent frameworks, scrapers and data extractors, plus the internal systems...
