Postdoctoral Fellow – Virus–Host Interactions & Airway Antiviral Defense

The Miorin Team is seeking a highly motivated Postdoctoral Fellow to investigate virus–host interactions that drive pathogenesis, with a particular emphasis on airway biology and antiviral defense. This role offers the opportunity to pursue cutting-edge virology and cell biology in a collaborative, well-resourced environment.

• Lead independent and collaborative projects on respiratory virus–host mechanisms.
• Apply molecular virology, advanced cell culture systems (ALI and iPSC-derived models), microscopy, proteomics, and in vivo mouse models.
• Analyze data, write manuscripts, and present at lab meetings and conferences.
• Help mentor students and contribute to a supportive lab culture.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. (or equivalent) in Virology, Immunology, Molecular/Cell Biology, or a related field.
• Strong foundation in molecular virology, cell biology, or immunology.
• Preferred experience in one or more: respiratory viruses; cilia/airway epithelial models; microscopy; mouse models of infection.
• Excellent communication skills; self-driven; team-oriented.
