Receiving Specialist - Level 2

In this role, you will impact overall supply chain efficiency by ensuring timely and accurate delivery of materials and products, maintaining full material traceability, supporting production schedules, and upholding compliance with company policies and safety standards.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Coordinate and process incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

• Inspect and verify shipment contents against purchase orders, packing lists, and bills of lading.

• Maintain accurate inventory records in SAP and update shipment tracking systems, preserving material traceability in accordance with industry requirements.

• Collaborate with warehouse and material teams to optimize receiving processes.

• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies during all receiving activities.

• As a Level 2 team member, may mentor Level 1 staff and support higher-complexity or higher-volume receiving activities.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Ability to lift up to 35 lbs. and perform repetitive lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.

• Ability to safely operate material handling equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks, in a warehouse environment.

YOU MUST HAVE

• Proven experience in receiving/warehouse operations within a manufacturing or warehouse environment.

• Strong knowledge of inventory management and shipment tracking systems.

• Ability to accurately inspect and verify shipment contents against documentation.

• Familiarity with safety regulations and compliance standards related to shipping and receiving.

• Experience using warehouse management software (SAP or similar ERP) and logistics coordination tools.

• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and adapt to changing priorities.

WE VALUE

• Additional certification in logistics or supply chain management is a plus.

• 2+ years of experience in shipping and receiving or related logistics roles.

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

• Knowledge of OSHA safety standards and best practices in warehouse operations.

• Experience in an AS9100D or other regulated/aerospace quality environment.

• Forklift experience or certification.
