AVP, Specialist, Regulatory Reporting

Business Function

Group Finance aims to deliver world-class standards in reporting, financial planning and finance processes. We provide insights and analyses that help the bank make sound business decisions – whether in the areas of product development or customer profitability. We also provide capital management, business planning, forecasting, and tax and accounting advisory services.

Key Responsibilities

• Support Finance and regulatory reporting initiatives through process improvement, data-driven analysis, and digital solutioning to enhance operational effectiveness and reporting quality.
• Drive the adoption of digital tools, automation, and AI/GenAI solutions to enhance Finance processes and ways of working.
• Lead process review and optimization initiatives to simplify workflows, strengthen controls, and improve operational efficiency.
• Develop and implement technology-enabled solutions, including Python-based utilities and GenAI applications, to address business challenges and reduce employee toils.
• Collaborate with team members in a fast‑paced environment to deliver high‑quality results.
• Demonstrate a positive attitude towards learning and adapting to new technologies and methodologies.

Key Requirements

• Degree holder in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, Business Analytics, Data Science, or related disciplines.
• At least 3 years of experience in Finance transformation, business analysis, process improvement, data management, reporting, or related roles.
• Proficiency in both SQL and Python; experience in data transformation is essential.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and continuous improvement mindset with the ability to translate business requirements into practical solutions.
• Experience in automation, digital solutioning, reporting tools, or GenAI technologies is advantageous.
• Open to candidates without a finance/banking background, prior professional experience or an academic background in the financial industry is highly welcomed.
• A strong willingness to learn about the finance industry is essential.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team.
