Designs, implements, and continuously improves human resource practices and programs to support business growth and transformation. Anticipates long-term HR needs and organizational trends in alignment with business leadership. Responsibilities span across core HR disciplines with strong focus on organizational effectiveness, operational excellence, and talent development.
Responsibilities
- Act as a senior HR generalist supporting the local leadership team, providing practical guidance and insights on organizational effectiveness, workforce planning, leadership capability, and employee engagement.
- Drive and localize the Global HR Strategy, ensuring alignment with country-specific business needs and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate closely with global HR functions, including HR Business Partners and Centers of Excellence (COEs), such as Talent, Total Rewards, Employee Relations, DEIB and Internal Communications.
- Lead and continuously enhance HR practices in the country, fostering a high-performance and inclusive culture aligned with company values.
- Ensure efficient and scalable HR operations by optimizing processes and coordinating with internal teams and external vendors (e.g., onboarding, offboarding, payroll, and employee lifecycle management).
- Work in partnership with HRBP team on talent and organization development initiatives rollout in country, including succession planning, workforce planning, and organization design.
- Manage employee relations matters with a proactive and compliant approach, ensuring alignment with local labor laws and effective communication.
- Provide clear and timely HR guidance to employees and managers on policies and people-related topics.
Qualifications
- 7+ years of HR experience with solid exposure as an HR generalist.
- Solid experience in multinational companies with fast-changing environments.
- Strong knowledge of employee relations and local labor laws in Korea.
- Familiarity with talent management and HR operations.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication skills with stakeholders at different levels.
- Fluency in English and Korean.
