Job Description
As a Security Officer-Patrol Driver School Campus in Santa Ana, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at an educational arts location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for students, staff, and visitors. This driving position offers the opportunity to provide outstanding customer service, communicate professionally, and respond to security-related concerns with integrity. - Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, visitors, and other clients while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of campus buildings, grounds, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
- Monitor access points and observe visitor activity in accordance with site-specific procedures, providing directions and assistance as needed.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, medical situations, and other critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and emergency services when required.
- Prepare accurate reports and maintain required activity logs for incidents, patrols, and observed conditions.
Minimum Requirements:
- A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
- Have at least one year of security-related experience.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
