Associate Warehouse Operations Representative

Responsible for material shipping, receiving and processing according to company policies and procedures. Ensures the orderly stocking and efficient flow of both inbound and outbound materials / equipment. Maintains and updates required documentation / reporting as shipments are received, cancelled or back ordered. Ensures documentation is up-to-date and reflective of material orders, deliveries, storage and distribution.

  • Gains familiarity with Manufacturing Warehouse Operations practices and procedures.
  • With guidance, performs basic Manufacturing Warehouse Operations duties, including: Loading and unloading trucks according to established policy.
  • Opening shipments / received goods.
  • Sorting and inspecting received goods for concealed damage or discrepancies in quantity and/or quality.
  • Moving received goods to appropriate storge areas.
  • Consolidating and packing orders in accordance with established outbound shipping policies / practices.
  • Loading outbound carriers.
  • Organizing material to be shipped within the assigned temporary holding area.
  • Performing general warehouse housekeeping duties (sweeping, emptying trash, gathering skids and empty boxes, etc).
  • Learns and complies with Manufacturing Warehouse Operations standards and policies, including safety policies.
  • Assists with special projects as assigned.

Required Qualifications

  • Education or equivalent work experience required.
  • Minimum of 0-2 years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and experience in Manufacturing Warehouse Operations.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
