The opportunity
HITACHI ENERGY GERMANY AG is seeking a motivated and analytical Bachelor's student to undertake a thesis project focused on operational health management (Betriebliches Gesundheitsmanagement - BGM). This role offers a unique opportunity to apply academic knowledge to real-world business challenges within a leading energy technology company.
How you'll make an impact
- Conduct in-depth research and analysis on current trends, best practices, and regulatory requirements in operational health management, specifically tailored to the industrial sector
- Develop a comprehensive thesis proposal, outlining research questions, methodologies, and expected outcomes, in collaboration with an internal supervisor
- Collect and analyze relevant data, potentially including employee surveys, health-related metrics, and company policies
- Identify opportunities for optimization and innovation within HITACHI ENERGY GERMANY AG's existing BGM framework
- Propose concrete recommendations and strategies for enhancing employee well-being, reducing absenteeism, and promoting a healthy work environment.
- Present findings and recommendations to relevant stakeholders within the company
- Complete a Bachelor's thesis of high academic quality within the agreed-upon timeframe
Your background
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's program in Business Administration, Human Resources, Health Management, Psychology, or a related field
- Strong academic record and a keen interest in operational health management
- Excellent research, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in German and English, both written and spoken
- Ability to work independently and manage project timelines effectively
- Familiarity with data collection and analysis methods is a plus
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
