Job Description

• Assists in managing overall site security operations and resolving operational issues.
• Provides technical support for physical security systems and daily security operations.
• Conducts periodic Security Risk and Vulnerability Assessments to identify and mitigate potential risks.
• Coordinates daily operations with the security service provider’s manager (CBRE) and communicated management directives effectively.
• Develops, reviews, and updates site security procedures, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and work instructions.
• Ensures person-in-charge manager (CBRE) is adequately briefed related to security policies, procedures, and operational requirements.
• Monitors, analyzes, and reports the outsourced security service provider's KPI performance, ensuring compliance with service level expectations.
• Ensures the outsourced service provider’s manager (CBRE) works to meet the operational headcount requirements.
• Verifies and validates daily security personnel deployment against approved staffing requirements.
• Prepares monthly forecast budgets, raises Purchase Requisitions (PRs) and Blanket Purchase Orders (POs), and verifies vendor invoices for payment processing.
• Coordinates with the Finance Department to ensure timely payment of vendor invoices and resolve overdue payment issues.
• Conducts New Hire Orientation and security awareness training for employees, vendors, and contractors.
• Participates in operational meetings, providing security expertise and support to address site technical-related issues.
• Coordinates and monitors security-related projects (CapEx and Opex) to ensure timely completion and compliance with project schedules.
• Plans and coordinates onsite security arrangements for VIP visits, and other special events.
• Assists to conduct screening for outsourced security personnel to ensure candidate suitability and service quality.
• Leads or supports security investigations as required and provides recommendations for corrective actions.
• Supports and participates in compliance audits, including CTPAT, RBA, AEO, IMS, and other regulatory or customer audits.
• Monitors the performance and availability of security systems, including Access Control Systems (CAS), CCTV, door alarms, boom gates, and turnstiles.
• Coordinates technical troubleshooting and ensured timely resolution of security system failures to minimize operational impact.
• Provides technical and operational support to regional security teams across the APAC region, including on-site assistance when required.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree in any field.
• Possess technical knowledge in security systems (CAS, CCTV, Visitor Management System, Turnstiles, etc).
• Good knowledge in Physical Security Operations.
• Computer-literate.

PREFERRED:

• Possess some knowledge in Lenel and Milestones applications.
• Good Communication in both English and Malay languages
• Well Organized and critical thinker
• Experienced in managing projects
